Beauty
Ruhi book 7 has so very much to offer humanity at this point in history...
for section 6 in the third chapter of this book
our tutor asked us to observe beauty around us for the week
and share this with the group in the following session
for me it was a quick run around the back yard
with my daughters digital camera
on a very spring morning that had me over flowing with joy and love
most of my back yard is a weed patch and very unnoticed for the most of the time
I had to zoom right into the plants and flowers but it was only when I had down loaded them that I had realised how much beauty was surrounding me
I was bowled over
I could not get over the signs that were all around me and I was missing them...why?
the only answer I could see was beauty is not loud and out there
beauty is subtle, gentle and small
and you have to work at finding it
we have to put effort into it
but beauty surrounds us in so many ways
and I had failed to see it
I have been a visual artist all my life
and it is only now working through Ruhi books 4 and 7
that I am breaking through profound artistic reality checks
............................enjoy as much as I have........................

BEAUTY

"Hear Me,
ye mortal birds!
In the Rose Garden of
changeless splendor
a Flower hath begun
to bloom, compared to which every other flower is but a thorn, and before the brightness of Whose glory the very essence of beauty must pale and wither. Arise, therefore, and, with the whole enthusiasm of your hearts, with all the eagerness of your souls, the full fervor of your will, and the concentrated efforts of your entire being, strive to attain the paradise of His presence, and endeavor to inhale the fragrance of the incorruptible Flower, to breathe the sweet savors of holiness, and to obtain a portion of this perfume of celestial glory. Whose followeth this counsel will break his chains asunder, will taste the abandoment of enraptured love, will attain unto his heart's desire and will surrender his soul into the hands of his Beloved. Bursting through his cage, he will, even as the bird of the spirit, wing his flight to his holy and everlasting nest..." Bahá'u'lláh

Hey good blog..See on

:-)
Beautiful photos
Your pictures are so full of life and beauty!! I used to look down at the grass as I walked along the road and see the most incredible tiny flowers...one looking like a miniature orchid! Too bad I don't have a digital camera.
Oh, I just happened to click from Flickr. and here I am in your blog about Ruhi.
Love your pics from your garden and what a good way to observe beauty for a week and present in the group. I am at present facilitating Ruhi 1 and 2 and will shortly start book 3. I will be back and learn more from you later.
Thanks for your inspiration.
